I use a gopoint BT1, but there are others on the market it depends if you just want it for reading fault codes then you can get away with an ELM327 Wifi jobby from ebay for £20

iv just bought a new blue point one but wasnt told that it only covers petrol from 2001 and diesel from 2005 onwards. that wasnt a cheapy either:deadhorse:.maybe worth watching out for. have heard that the ebay specials are ok for just code reading thou.

I got a cheap eBay one and it gave me the info I needed, used it on a few other cars too and has been helpful for the £15 it cost.

Are people using Dash command on their iPhone , android phone with the wifi OBD2 reader for clearing codes as it looks ok .

555_Si 05-07-2015 11:35 PM

I think if you have laptop you can use a cheap ebay vagcom cable and romraider, i think thats what i used on newage. Classics are a bit trickier i think.

scotty 06-07-2015 12:08 AM

It's for the blob Si as for the classic I'm not going to see that for a while .

Ginola 06-07-2015 01:13 AM
