Am well chuffed... :ok: |
Blimey, you have certainly been treating the Scoob recently, has the post operation recovery left you too much free time and resulted in Internet sprees?
|
Errrrrrr yes pmsl!
New exhaust, new up pipe, booked remap with Duncan, morette lights, HKS SSQV, and fitting of all the above plus all blue silicone hoses, updated fuel pump, boost solenoid... Post op blues! Pmsl |

You are only buying these things so you can have the longest 'signature' in SES history... ;-)

Steve I have a question - did u just spray the masks on ur morette's or did u also get the light faces sprayed as well?
Ryan :ok: |
They were on the car when I bought it many years ago.... and already colour coded so I've just left them alone. Sure the mask is the only colour coded part though, as it covers the light unit completely.

Great that's what I thought - thanks for confirming though Steve :ok:
Are urs up graded to HID? |
Yep, I fitted one of Aztec Performance's HID kits a few years ago.
Only thing I'd mention is that on mine, I had a strange wiring problem - think it was because Subaru use switchable earths. As standard, when locking the full beam on (not flash) the standard dipped beam goes off. With HIDs fitted, the bulbs have a few second startup time..... I was driving down a country B road at about 60mph at night, switched my full beam off when there was a car coming towards me, and I was plunged into darkness for that few seconds whilst the HIDs woke up! Fixed it by earthing the HIDs to the chassis so they have a permanent earth - they now stay on when I use full beam. :) |
Thanks for the info Steve
I'll try and remember that if I go down this route - would like to though as nothing like crisp 6000k beams :ok: |
Ryan i have an odd Morette spare left over from a project cars demise............
|
