Salamander Shower Pumps ?

Anyone know anything about these.
Thinking of ditching the electric shower and fitting a concealed shower in our revised bathroom.

I will need a pump to boost the pressure, so I was looking at the Salamander Range.

Do these run all the time, when power is applied.
Or do they spin up to pressure once they detect water flow ?

I've got a Mira Event shower and it is very good, with plenty of power.
