Gutted

Came of the roundabout at the treacle mine towards hailsham this afternoon and had a civic up my arse, was in the outside lane and he undertook me. Going up the hill where the Arlington turn off is I was bouncing of the rev limiter and couldn't catch him though he wasn't pulling away, pulled into work and checked what speed I was doing and was shocked. Anyone know of a very fast civic it's silver with a black bonnet.

Danwrx 19-09-2014 10:06 PM

What model was it mate?

midlife2 19-09-2014 10:10 PM

Haven't a clue just know it was debadged just say we were doing silly speeds.

Danwrx 19-09-2014 10:12 PM

I know a couple of people with civics some old shape some type r's and some coupes. I can only think of one silver with a black bonnet though that I've seen

midlife2 19-09-2014 10:13 PM

It was a older shape

midlife2 19-09-2014 10:14 PM

Even had a smallish exhaust tip

Sounds pretty bad ass to me. Although at the end of the day, he's still driving a Civic. Great sleeper though.

midlife2 19-09-2014 10:26 PM

Just want to know what he had under the bonnet

I was up at austec in Crawley a couple of weeks ago and they had a silver turbo civic in. The guys there seemed very impressed with it.

midlife2 19-09-2014 11:34 PM

Did it have a black bonnet?

2fast2calm 19-09-2014 11:54 PM

some civics are very rapid but that is no excuse for letting the side down, don't you feel ashamed? a suitable punishment would be that you go out tomorrow & buy a "I love Hondas" T shirt
ps next time you come across him hope & pray it's raining hard then you might show him that the mighty IMPREZA is the car that takes no prisoners
I'll get my coat:oops:

lol 2fastnotsocalm :rofl::rofl:

I have seen 1 or 2 that are dam quick, and they can handle quite well, none quick enough to trouble the scoob though? :O wonder what the hell it had under the hood!

PS.. I can get you a TypeR we're back T-Shirt if you like.... I have some connections at Honda UK ;):D

No shame in that mate, a fast car is a fast car. I'd say definitely supercharged or Turbo'd though. Seen a few Supercharged civics do low 13 high 12 passes at Santa Pod. I'd have loved to have seen it go, even if it was me chasing it!

OP might like to re-think the wording of some of these posts. This is a public forum open to be viewed by anyone :FIVE-0: and we would not advise public speak of such behaviours (racing and silly speeds !!!!), nor do we at SouthEastScoobies condone such behaviours ;)

munk 20-09-2014 04:04 PM

Im pretty sure theres a super charged old shape civic around the bourne at the moment have heard people chatting about it.

midlife2 20-09-2014 06:21 PM

That's insane.

Surely that won't last long, or has had quite some work done!
