WR1 or fake?
|
its been on snet a few times - its real but junk in reality
a previous owner knew it was going to be repossessed so sold all the good bits before it went - brakes , six speed gbox etc etc ,,, its been on there for months http://bbs.scoobynet.com/scoobynet-g...1-anybody.html http://bbs.scoobynet.com/scoobynet-g...other-pig.html |
Wouldn't go near that, my guess is it's stolen recovered or was broken for parts and they have stuck anything on it to sell
|
Or what Oldskool said :D
|
even the panels aren't all the same colour - such a shame to see if youre a petrolhead
|
Difficult to tell 100%, but I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole.
No interior photos or engine bay photos which would probably answer the question. If its genuine, then steering wheel change and WRX wheels suggest its been in an accident and airbag went off. But brakes look red (not gold) and WRX wheels don't go over Brembos, so its on the wrong brakes too. It could be an unloved WR1 thats been stripped of good bits by the last owner and then someones rebuilt it cheap. Ask for some engine/interior photos and see what you get ;) edit/ bloody hell, there was no responses to this thread when i started typing  |
fotos in 2nd link I just added Steve

Just read the threads on scabbynet, at least they warned off one potential buyer. What a shed.
I wouldn't buy a car from a garage that spells it 'Motorz' in any case! |
It's sooooo bad

Nowhere near camp enough for a proper WR1. ;)

A good excuse to paint it a decent colour.
