Anyone know where I can get a fan belt on a Sunday ??
 

My fan belt has just ripped itself to pieces does anyone know of anywhere open that will have one in or near Brighton ?

I dont no if you have any of these suppliers in ur area but sc motor factors, some uniparts and some cat components are open on sundays matey hope this helps shame my place aint or I would help u out

More than likely have one in the garage you can have if you can get to Horsham

I have a spare in my boot - not sure if yours has ac or if theyre the same ,, the one in the boot is the one that was changed at last service I was told but looked ok afaik ,, I can have a closer look at it if you think it might get you going

failing that Halfords maybe ?

If it's a 5pk it's a alternator & steering belt if it's 4pk it's air con

mine has ac so 4pk I guess

If you have ac your have two belts . One of each

ok well not sure which id have then as don't think its packaged and even if it was as its one that's come off the car could of been put in wrong sleeve - is there a length measurement can be used to check ?

5pk has 5 ribs
4pk has 4 ribs

k ill go dig it out the boot now and see what it is and what condition

Don't think I have ever seen a car with a 'Fan' belt since about 1984.

ok its got 5 ridges so guessing its a winner ? its in good nick as well
