Boot struts/dampers
 

Does anyone know if anyone has ever fitted dampers to their boot ? Bit like the ones that can go on the bonnet

Reason for asking i would like to get those metal rods that are used as springs to hold the boot up out the way from underneath the rear parcel shelf on my 05 wrx saloon

Any info or links to subject would be great thanks
