Quite an interesting read, especially the low number of UK Spec Turbo 2000s still registered and on the road. Looks like it will be worth investing in getting those arches sorted properly.

Not sure where he got his numbers from as I just checked and apparently there's 4.5 thousand currently licensed, that's not including all the WRX imports.

The numbers on 'how many left' don't really categorise well enough.
You also need to take into account that most of the dvla records for imports are wrong or inconsistent. As they seem to register them against a model variant depending on which way the wind was blowing or the position of the moon.

:D yes, my STI4 wagon was registered as a 2.0 sport ;) ... I still insured it as an STI though! :ok:
