British Rallycross Round 1, Lydden Hill - Saturday 29th & Sunday 30th March
 

The 2014 British Rallycross Championship kicks off with Round 1 at Lydden Hill on the weekend of 29th/30th March. It should be a great opener to the season as there should be a number of drivers from Belgium coming over, plus a World Championship driver (or two) are expected to run the event.

If you haven't been to Lydden before then its a great circuit to watch as you can pretty much see the whole circuit from any point on the track. Its just down the road from Dover; so to get there is only a quick blast down the M2 or M20 for most South East folks! :doubleup:

Saturday will include a couple of rounds of heats, with the last of the heats and the all important finals on the Sunday. Racing is normally finished by 4 so, even if its busy, you should get out of the circuit pretty quickly. So no long crawl home afterwards!

12 Supercars, 13 Super National, 15 Super 1600 and 39 Belgium Super National cars: a very healthy entry list. Another couple of Supercars expected as well, so those numbers should increase again.

I expect the "mystery drivers" will turn out to be World Rallycross drivers using the event as a warm up. :doubleup:
