Trouble taxing my car!

Guys looking for advice,
Gone to tax my evo today so can start to use it, got the green slip as still not had log book back got insurance and mot so all the bits I need but the green slip already has been stamped now the post office won't accept this and I can't do it online either as log book isn't in my name!
What can I do this seems stupid that I can't even tax it when I want to but quick enough to fine when you don't have tax!! Frustrated so much atm

Tipex out anything that may be in the green slip and fill out your details and take it to another postoffice - The small post office at the top of harrow lane always seem to be very accommodating to me...

No prob's mate, glad you got it sorted.

The other post office was being stupid. You want to legitimately tax the car, and they get to make some money from the transaction. So should be win, win. Far too many jobsworths about these days.

Good old harrow lane po. Run by humans not robots disguised as humans

One of the owners sons is in my sons class. Dad is a petrol head and does track days on his CBR600, very quick apparently as well. They also lay on a really good spread for the parents at parties, proper home made currys, all vegetarian but really nice, beats anything I've ever had from a takeaway.

Sorry, off topic, glad you got it sorted Benji.
