clutch change
 

ok so it turns out i do need a clutch change ,any recommendations of who or where,has to be cheap as poss as misses out of work :( leaving me out of pocket ,or if i supply clutch anyone on here that can fit for me will pay you ,

I've just done mine mate, worst fu**ing job I've done on axel stands!if I remember correctly Jaffa on here has a garage in Hastings and he charges about £150 mate, well worth the money in my opinion, took me forever ( weather didn't help), splitting the box was a nightmare, and as for lining the ba**ard back up, let's just say I have lost a fair few tools due to them either snapping or me throwing them. It wouldn't be that hard to do though if you had a lift, that would make it so much easier.

Another vote for Jaffa... Did a quick, efficient job on mine a while back...

I've vouched never to do another on my life mate lol, I've got 3 swollen fingers, a aching back and arms and a sore head. To be honest it is better to get in touch with someone who has a lift it would've only taken a few hours with a lift mate.

Yeah mate finally lol, how's your bug going now mate? Next on the list for mine is the rear arch and then to fit my td05, sti up pipe, pink injectors, fuel pump and hopefully the down pipe (if you manage to find it lol)

Yeah all sorted now just gotta get a tweak on the map, I'm gonna try and get out to the garage to have a tidy up today or tomoz will be in touch once I've found it mate

genuinely laughing cuz I been there and now use Jaffa every time my box has to come out.

another vote for tone,we did a gearbox change on mine when i first got it and as said he makes it look easy.

Wont don't you buy a stage 1 exedy pink box clutch that will last instead of buying ebay jobbies as you call them.

well don't really need a pinky as running standard power n no plans to go for more

Over on scoobynet Aztec performance are doing a offer on exedy clutches, think they are about £130 mate, or is it as performance on here that does them also.
