coilovers

What are the best coilovers for a classic as I have been looking at the BC series and Tein as well but are there any others that you would recommend as looking to upgrade at the end of the year .

Bilstien B16's , AST , KW's
I'd ring alyn at AS performance and tell him what you intend doing with the car and your budget

I think Alyn will recommend eibach.
Tempted with them myself....

Its worth looking up at the spring rate setting before you go buying them as my kts coilovers are unbelievably uncomfortable on the roads, it might look good and handle well but its stiff as.

There must be a nice compromise though, if I take you out in my car youll understand what im on about, its very close to having no suspension atall! lol

Looking for something for both road and track use already got standard blistein sti suspension with eibach springs I think hard ride but is good on smooth roads but up here you feel how hard it is when you go over the drains on the roads and the odd pot hole lol

Its really very hard to find a compromise that suits, but bilsteins on lowered prodrive springs with a good geo setup is a very good fast road classic setup, arguably the best.
Grab some camber bolts with what ever you decide to go with.

Coil-overs (unless your spending really silly money for rally spec stuff!) are more track focused than road no matter what anyone tells you. Having them set-up correctly (not slamming your car!) and getting any relevant supporting parts fitted at the same time will give you a car that handles very very well, but it will be stiff! :)
There are lots of different combinations out there, go with the best you can afford.

I get on very well with my TEIN type flex, but there not cheap! and still alot stiffer than standard suspension. They are not as stiff as some other coilovers out there. Take a look at spring rates closely on what ever you go with ;)
My Classic handled amazingly well on brand new KYB shocks, eibach springs, a set of camber bolts and a good geo setup
