Glad I read that, I have a carberry map and wondered why it didn't work properly. Hopefully it'll work after it's remapped on Friday.

You can use DashCommand on an Iphone or Ipad and an OBD2 blu-tooth or wifi connector.
Which has custom dash boards +can make custom gauge packs of your own design, fault read and reset ECU, + run various performance figures/live data + logging.
There is also a PC version to download and view your logs with/replay your data.
Can show you it in operation at next meet ;)

The correct OBD2 monitor will also work with apps like Harrys Laptimer and 1 or 2 others.

I use GoPoint BT1 blu-tooth adaptor + both the above apps, on a fairly regular bases, you can get slightly quicker wifi units but they use more battery power (not an issue if your connected via power)
You can also connect more accurate GPS tracking units to your phone ;)

Don't think either versions of these apps work with Carburry, have been very tempted with Carburry map before, how are you finding it?

What app on Iphone is everyone running then and how comes you don't get OBD readers for classics .

riiidaa 01-10-2014 09:43 PM

classics and early newage don't use OBDII protocols despite having the socket, Subaru Select Monitor is what you have to use. FreSSM etc, with a laptop / pc

I brought the full app and a kiwi plx to do the reading on my classic only to find out what Riiida said, it reads all other cars fine just not the classic (gutted) however I use it on other vehicles.

scotty 02-10-2014 03:43 PM

That's pish they don't do OBD readers for us classic owners .

I'm having it tweaked or removed tomorrow!

It has an anti-lag mode that turns the car into some sort of animal and it also has launch control hidden somewhere, but I've not found that.

The anti-lag mode is accessed by turning on the rear-demister.....

:shock::shock::shock:

I'm hoping to get a Before and After dyno test to see how it is once I leave Surry Rolling Road tomorrow.

Fingers crossed :D
