mapp question

Morning guys, quick question,
My sti has been mapped by powerstation with ecutek.
Does this mean any mapper can now go in and alter the mapp to suit?
car was mapped back in 2007 and still has the same mods but would like it to have a refresh done.?

And that would of been a big fat 'NO', AFAIK the tool prevents other mappers downloading the map for editting.
Another ECUTEK mapper can however utilise the ECUTEK license and flash their own map onto it.

It can be mapped using non ECUTEK software.

Indeed, but the version/tool needs to circumvent the ECUTEK licence/lock-out, which the OpenSource applications don't do.
However, some other application can do ;)
