Nice :ok:
Like the black/gold combination going on with the little strip along the grill :) |
Very nice
Bugeyes are marmite cars , unlike marmite I like them :D |
Looks very clean! Liking the black/gold combo too ;)
|

Cheers guys its really clean and only mapped and miltek system, so good base platform. |
Very Nice :)
|
Very nice, black and gold is the best combo imo but then I am biased :-)
|
Really like that! Very nice.
|
That looks very tidy mate
|
Best shape, best colour...:norty:
Matty B has a Prodrive front bumper for sale if your quick. |
Thanks for the comments, i have allways been on the fence with the bugs but i must say i love it,
I have seen matty has the prodrive bumper in my colour and i really like it along with the skirts but unfortunaly £400 isnt free at the mo. |
Looking good.
Ditch the pink bit's though or replace with gold. |
Marmite, love it!
Black bug eyed scoob, me likes too! Looks proper tasty! |

It looks very clean fella
|
Nice car as you can see I like bugs to.
|
Do like a black bug!
|
I really would like a pro drive bumper, to lower it 20mm, and get Jgm to mapp it to, then try and leave alone, so he says, fraz over on sn is a bugger doing a black one also gets me thinking. What do you guys think of speed line turinis?
|
Gave the car a good polish last night and thought id get some shots while in the sun at work,
http://i756.photobucket.com/albums/x...ps393fcfdd.jpg |
On reflection, I'm liking the black/gold more & more 8-)
|
If Carlsberg made Subaru`s they would all be black and gold :ok::-D
Looks really nice :more: |

|
Looking good mate, looks spotless.
|
Little update,
fitted stock gearknob, removed the piller gauges and fitted stock piller back in as did'nt like having two gauges in my eye sight 2nd was to high.. Had the car serviced, Prodrive front bumper.. http://i756.photobucket.com/albums/x...psb6599371.jpg Got this gauge pod for the center of the dash, but the fitment is poor, so just put the stock clock back in. http://i756.photobucket.com/albums/x...psd1fe9fa5.jpg Today i have ordered H&R Springs and Samco airbox hose from a very helpful Revolution :-D And a Cosworth Panel Filter. Next is mapp on the cards and do something with boost gauge location.I'm thinking something like this link as small and tucked down- http://www.scoobyworld.co.uk/catalog...oducts_id=1205 |
Nice Bumper :ok: Couldn't resist eh?
|
Quote:
prodrive skirts in black atm, but trying to resist lol |
Very nice bumper mate. Looking forward to seeing it painted and on the car
|

Looking good mate, I really like the new prodrive front bumper and it will improve the front end massively. :yeah:
|
Went for the pillar pod from S'world, arrived today and it fits great, really pleased with it,
Keep toying with the wheel colour either silver or black?? |
Bit the bullet and bought Black Blob Sti rear bumper and Rear lights :p
Should update the rear abit. Few more things in the pipeline also, :STi: |
Quote:
The bugeyes were black with a blue hue in the paint whereas the blobs were black with a gold fleck in. Just thought i'd mention in case you were planning on just swapping the bumpers straight over.... |
Quote:
i think it updates the rear alot. |
Cool, it does make it a lot newer looking from the rear. I changed my rear lights from bug to blob but didn't do the bumper.... just doing that bit makes a huge difference.
|
Small update
Fitted few more parts to the Scoob and thought id share, 1st off Rear blob eye lights, much much better and really happy with these. Blob rear bumper is still sitting in my shed awaiting painting. Fitted O.E.M Airbox coupled along with Cosworth panel filter and Samco airbox hose. H&R lowering springs awaiting fitment coupled to a new set of kyb ultra sr shocks :-) Had the Car up my local scoob doctor to fit new wheel bearings, milltek welded on down pipe as fracture around a weld, also the up pipe heat shield removed as driving me around the bend rattling.:brickwall: http://i756.photobucket.com/albums/x...ps867d36f8.jpg http://i756.photobucket.com/albums/x...psaf32633d.jpg http://i756.photobucket.com/albums/x...psddacb435.jpg http://i756.photobucket.com/albums/x...ps1003e8e7.jpg |
Looking sweet mate!! Whats the reason for a new bumper??
|
Blob. Conversion
|
Good to see the scoob today, always nice to have another tidy bugeye in the club :D
|
few more goodies ordered today.
Rear diffuser for my blob bumper And front v-lip, smaller front plate and new clean rear plate. http://i756.photobucket.com/albums/x...ps129460ac.jpg http://i756.photobucket.com/albums/x...psbc27fe0d.jpg |
edit bought this considering this little lip spoiler, is this the one people normally fit?
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-E46-19...item3cd85b0b4f |
Yep, Moley did it on his blob :)
I think the first one he got was a bit too short though (didn't meet the raised bits on the end of the spoiler), so not sure if they're a standard size or available in different lengths... |
I don't think they do. Looked up frayz one over on s'net and his doesn't still looks good I believe. Still awaiting my front shocks to arrive. Backs are here then I can lower it. Also think I'm going to get lepsons to refurbish the alloys but may hang on while crappy weather unless I can get hold of some stock sti wheels to push threw the winter
|
Looks a minter
|
Spillter added, and the rear diffuser test fitted on my blob bumper, need to drop the bumper of at the painters at some point, really happy with the quality of them both.
http://i756.photobucket.com/albums/x...ps8610c368.jpg http://i756.photobucket.com/albums/x...ps7fc860bb.jpg |
Looking good, front splitter really improves the front of the newage cars
|
well after much badgering of friends ive decided to put the hatch on hold for a bit longer as want a jdm only version and still fetching to much, i decided that the sti need some money thrown at it,
so just ordered some Rota g-force and new black nuts for her. these but in gun metal. anyone know where can get the heat shield for the bumper from? http://i756.photobucket.com/albums/x...ps7a6cbb94.jpg |
scoobyworld does a heat shield i think, or scoobyparts.
|

Got the same one!
Careful when you clean it lol Sharpe as hell |
I nearly bought this car I guess around 8 years ago when it was for sale at Village Cars. Garage was very local to me in Essex. Still saw it around until about a year ago locally so I guess this is where its ended up lol
|
Small world don't surpose you remember how much it was all that time ago
|
I think it was up for 11k. I know it had been mapped as the car was inside the showroom and had the dynograph in the window. I think Powerstation had done it.
Village cars were like a mini car supermarket with the odd decent car. this was one of them back then! |
Oh im saying 8 years ago - it was definatly pre 2007!
|
Deffo mine was mapped in 06 by power station car is for sale now
|
Lol see good cars stick in the memory! GLWTS
|
Lovely car
|
