Ultimate spec of a scoob
What would be your ultimate specked scoob ?
Body engine brakes etc .................. |
22B but with a SportShift transmission
|
I haven't got an ultimate - I'd just take one of every version and edition that's been made please. Completely standard as they left the factory
|
I'm a rally nut, so Solberg's Impreza WRC for me ;)

Depends on what it's intention is....
Think Clive's p1 is nearly there but prefer a 22b shape. Need to Mixt the two |
Daily Driver:
http://autoworld.files.wordpress.com...s402-img_2.jpg Plaything: Burnup kitted http://4sierratango.com/images/41.jpg Bugeye with wide arches, stripped and caged and properly (lengthened front doors) converted to a 2 door, carbon rear quarters, doors, wings, bonnet, roof & boot. 2.35 with rotated GT30 to 6 speed sequential box, carbon prop. All finished in a graphics free dark blue mica. |
I'd settle with Andy F's for a play thing.

I'm not really sure I have an ultimate spec, as Tim says it depends what it's purpose is. Also agree about Clive's P1, brilliant car. My only real wish would be that they produced each body shape in a two door version. Better still a 22B equivalent for each model. Would love a wide arch two door blob eye! |
Not far off being happy just a Modena box , ABW arches and a proper paint job and I'd be there . For a bit any way !
Arches coming over the winter :D |

For fun I'd quite fancy a rally spec Impreza or a Dakar Foz. :-D I was looking on the Prodrive site earlier and spotted a for sale section. Some nice stuff there. |
For me it has to be a 1998 WRC .. but its a crap load of dosh needed to spec to that..
It was what started it all for me was this quite a few years back ;) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SNIlopdOLgE One i grabbed on the camera recently + a lill vid ;) http://i1192.photobucket.com/albums/...pse1903f74.jpg Sorry for the shaky video work, used the SLR http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mGpDepInf7w |
Very nearly went with that choice myself Dave. They threw the older cars around more, it was more impressive to watch.
But the early 2000's was when I was enjoying rallying the most, camped out up a mountain in Wales for 3 days every year cheering on McRae, Burns and then Solberg a couple of years later. Its what made the brand for me and the reason I ended up buying one :) |
Again Bug wrc car
|
In a dream world, also with the WRC Bug.
If I could afford it, a 22b The real world, I'm building it. |
1995 WRC no4 please.....in tarmac trim.....pop pop bang.....
|
|
|
69k wow. and in france, still unique and couldnt build it for that

mmmm... I think for me a totally standard RB320 is still high on the list. A MK2 Litchfield type 25 in WR Blue, or an RA-R. There appears to be a bit of a hawkeye theme going on there. What does that tell you!.
|
Evo3 excellent choice !!
