Insurance question

I was just wondering if the was much difference in insurance prices between say a UK P1 and a imported Type R version 6, Just throwing a few ideas around in my head as I really wanted to get a P1, but finding a good 1 is proving very difficult and I might need to look at other options as I'm getting married at the end of August and need a car before the wedding.

I dont think you will find there is too much difference. I have just insured a Version III wrx Sti wagon and was suprised at how reasonable it is. Way cheaper than my Hawk Sti was, though obviously the value is less.

I'd say depends on the insurer (although Moley is the man to answer this....)

Sure some insurers charge more for imports......

Matt had both my type r and p1 insured with moley and don't remember it being any more too be honest,as Gary always does a good price

Thanks for the replys guys, and yes I'm trying to keep positive Dave, I'm just preparing in case 1 doesn't come up in the next few weeks. Oh and regarding Gary, I did try and insure my old WRX with him a few years ago now and due to where I live in central london he wasn't really able to help me and it was cheaper for me to go elsewhere sadly.

Are you selling up again ?

Central London might be ok with us now.

Do difference with the insurers we use, but some of the direct companies will probably work differently
