midlife2 16-07-2013 06:19 PM

Not in the same league mate. Looking forward to trying your lake, lucky I'm not a pole lol

RCS2810 16-07-2013 06:43 PM

Yeah we have had them though. Be surprised if theres any fish left lol.

midlife2 16-07-2013 06:47 PM

Hope you are joking

ScoobyStu 16-07-2013 09:46 PM

Shoreham arm used to be alright for a few. Trawlers come in so close now it's not worth bothering with. Hence why I gave it up and spent thousands on carp gear.....twice :-/

chris wrx 16-07-2013 09:57 PM

Been down rock a nore after them this evening , perfect conditions but no sign of them gave up after a hour or so. :paranoid:

SamSTI 16-07-2013 10:04 PM

There's a few about on Seaford beach so I'm told (more of a carp fisherman myself)

Scott.T 16-07-2013 10:13 PM

My neighbour caught from a kayak off Hastings but they were a bit small

midlife2 16-07-2013 10:29 PM

Maybe we should organise a carp meet?

RCS2810 17-07-2013 10:24 PM

midlife2 17-07-2013 10:59 PM

Think your lake has potential but you need some fish in it

+1 :agreed:

There's a bloke who owns a lake who has banned Eastern Europeoners because his fish are going missing. Needless to say the PC brigade (and the Law) are not too happy!

Anger, that's good mate. Mullet aren't the easiest to catch.

Well I must admit we did notice we had more fish a few years ago. May look at restocking for next season...

This was caught by a mate about a month and a half ago.

Yes but also being a campsite its not as easy to just 'ban' certain types of people to fish, then we would be up for racism. If they have a license they can fish.

ScoobyStu 18-07-2013 12:16 AM

He is being done for it mate. As you say, nothing you can do. If they want them that bad, they'll have them. Wouldn't be so bad if they were putting them in another lake (disiese aside) but they eat them!
