Karting 24h Le Mans
Just got back from Le Mans,I was there for 6 days 4 days testing with my two karts and 2 days racing with the Club class team Off line racing with 5 drivers.
And with a kart a bit down on power we grounded out a result with on crashes or brake downs for the hole 24 hours. We got 8th over all and 2nd in class one place behind last year. What kept up there was pit stop which were spot on all race. There is a hire class so any one can enter a team all you would be karters. I have worked out over the week as a team we did about 2700 miles the race we did 1445 laps 1060 miles. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...psfb7e431e.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...ps16c3c31d.jpg Me on a mission. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...ps10d1cb9b.jpg And Adam my son finishing the race with a broken seat stay. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...psa49202c2.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...ps0dca7260.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...psf838e776.jpg Plus I have big respect for the Kart Force Team to do 24 hours with hand controls and they were not slow, A great bunch of lads. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...psd1689a15.jpg So some awesome week http://www.surreyscoobies.co.uk/foru...on_biggrin.gif. |
