HELP!!!!!! Scooby Won't Start

Hi, My Impreza 1994 WRX Import as above wont start it goes to but nothing, went for a drive in it all was fine then accelerated and then some knob pulled out in front so slammed on the brakes, went off felt very sluggish then stopped at a roundabout then went to go went 5 feet then cut out.

Any Ideas?

Many Thanks

U thinking cambelt slipped a tooth or 2

Danb84 02-06-2013 03:50 PM

Cambelt looks fine I got fuel at engine I got spark at plugs checked maf sounds like it wants to go

Danb84 02-06-2013 03:51 PM

Could a walbro 255 cause it to overfuel?

tank_wrx 02-06-2013 03:58 PM

Has a 1994 got a fuel cut off switch ? If braked mega hard may have cut fuel ?

Danb84 02-06-2013 04:06 PM

Where would that be?

majorscooby 02-06-2013 05:43 PM

I've got a walbro255 on a standard map and its runs fine, don't think it would be that.

255 pump wouldn't make any odds as pressure regulator will regulate it at correct pressure.

Cool, just looked at timing and two are spot on one side but the other two are about 7 teeth out,

Scooby O'Neill 03-06-2013 07:24 PM

So the belt did slip then
