I've been thinking putting my blue bits back to white and leave the the wheels and my surname left on bit fed up with them but not sure. At the same time I'm doing that I'm gonna clean up the arches and get them all back to white and put on a front splitter and repaint the calipers as the rust starting to come threw the old paint

Granby 04-04-2013 02:11 PM

Keep wheels blue but the rest all white

ps...easy on the thinking mate

Matt23 04-04-2013 03:03 PM

Personally I would have it all white, even the wheels.

not such a silly idea, less is more - do it in white

SpecB 04-04-2013 03:22 PM

Back to white, leave the wheels blue. If you keep the name I'd go for the outline of the letters only so it's got less blue.

Prefer it like that and with the smaller rear spoiler, think it suits the classic better

Very nice mate, much better imo.

edit.... put that before I saw your second post. Looks nasty mate, glad no one got seriously hurt.

Scooby O'Neill 13-05-2013 09:59 PM

I'm gutted about her. But least no serous injury to anyone and not even my fault

SamSTI 13-05-2013 10:04 PM

How did it happen?? if you don't mind me asking??

scotty 13-05-2013 10:05 PM

Shame about the car but the good thing that everyone is ok hope you are going to rebuild her as she was a nice clean example of a classic .

Scooby O'Neill 13-05-2013 10:08 PM

I was slowing down going down hill towards a roundabout and women pulled out of a road on the left and drove into the side of me hit me quite hard as I ended up spin round 90degrees to the left I saw her but she didn't see me coming I think but it was all to late she hit me. Police was involved

Scooby O'Neill 13-05-2013 10:10 PM

I'm hoping to buy her back and I'm gonna repair as a project, she sitting in my drive now as I got her home as roadside recovery refused to take my car home they wanted to take to there yard and I didn't want that

Steve_PPP 13-05-2013 10:18 PM

Thats a real shame, looked a tidy classic :( Glad nobody seriously hurt, hope the insurance process is simple and you get a decent amount to replace it.

/edit just read post above, hope you get it sorted then.

In limbo land with insurance at the moment but the company that was sent out to check the damage said she can be repaired but not by us as its uneconomical to repair but second hand doors and weld a new arch in and a paint job and check middle pillar see if its ok to the doors and pillar needs moving back u can do it. The bloke was gutted for me he said it was so clean and low mileage too

riiidaa 13-05-2013 11:03 PM

i can see how she failed to nice you though in a bright white car with lairy graphics down the side, silly moo

scoobypat 14-05-2013 12:49 PM

I will have some white doors for sale soon
