Brakes feeling spondgey
 

Just fitted my 8 pot k sports on my classic and have changed the fluid to 5.1 and also braided hoses the brakes work fine and stop me on a 6 pence however the pedal is a little spondgey and I'm unsure about it makes me feel uncomfortable whilst driving just in case what do you think it is

Did you bleed them all and in the correct order?

A don't know some guy did he done fl,fr,rl,rr

I've always been lead to believe that you bleed the rears first being the furthest points away from the master cylinder.

not strictly true on ABS systems...............

regardless with new brakes it "may" simply be the pads are not bedded and compressed as yet and may well firm up...........what spec pads??

silly one, the bleed nipples do point to the top??

Eh the pads are Ferrodoo pads however the pads aren't brand new the whole set came pads have just under full life left only used once on a sprint before changed them so they are already bedded in and yea the bleed nipples are at the top

Were the pads still in the caliper when they arrived and stayed in the caliper when put on? If not then you are feelin the difference in wear making the pads not square on to the disk, assuming of course if the pads were separated it woud be very lucky to put the in the same calipr/side/orientation

Spongey would normally indicate air in the system somewhere and compressing when you apply the pedal.

No they weren't in the calipers I put them in so mite be that but also might be air how would I know for defo without bleeding the system again as I have just used all the new stuff I bought and it ain't cheap
