OBDII bluetooth,
Anyone using one of these?
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...MakeTrack=true seems like a steal for 11 quid |
Yeah I've used similar from ebay - think mine was around £20.
It works well with the Torque app on Android on my phone. The cheap scanners can be a bit hit and miss though... and slow... HTH J. |
I have one but cannot get it to work on my jdm bugeye, not sure if the ecu's are different from uk ones? Works on wife's car.
|
JDM is SSM, not OBDII.
Works for some codes, but generally no use I believe. The Bluetooth things are good value though, seen them used to good effect. |
JDM is SSM, not OBDII.
I have a OBD port in car, please explain about SSM? thanks Paul |
SSM is Subaru Select Monitor, which is the protocol used on JDM Scoobs instead of OBDII.
The ports are the same. I believe the latest Torque app does support SSM, so you may be able to use it. |
