It has started for me to add parts to the car just got a set of black 17" alloys on the car will post pics of car when it is daylight for all you to see

i think so to might have to take the decals off and get another set as one side has split in two because of the cold weather. Getting the scoob booked into my local panel care center to respray and fix front splitter has its got two cracks on it . Gary who owns panel care center said to me tonight he will do front bumper and splitter for £250 including vat so going to get that done before the meet at leeds castle in may . Opinions on decals please STAY OR GO AND COLOUR BLACK OR KEEP THE GUN METAL GREY if keeping on .

Took me along time to find the right ones and i found them on ebay at a good price to for the full kit

In the process of taking off stickers at the moment but weather is playing by snowing again dont know how long it going to take but will post pick up once done but will buy a new set once front bumper and splitter have been fixed and resprayed .

I would definitely get graphics done, really makes the car stand out and they only look right with graphics in my opinion.

if your taking them off keep them off rather than buying more spend the money on a mop/machine polish!!

I think it's best making the car unique by doing ur own stamp on it rather making it look like a rally car copy, makes it different from the others that done it and its some think that u want or less u want it the same

Nearly all the decals are off then give the scoob a wash tomorrow then post a pic or two up for you all to see but I don't know what part to buy next but I do know that I will buy another set of decals but these ones will be different if I can get them made for me .

Seen them before on silver scoob new age but not my cup of tea

No he didn't get back to me so I went down to my local Subaru breakers who only strip classics might go back on Monday and get decat pipe if he got any left and he's not bad priced either .

Just picked up 3 inch decat pipe just need to get it all fitted now .

I have been warned it is going to be rather loud!

nurspec is not to bad! nowere near as loud as the afterburner!!! either that or im deaf lol

Thought the full Nur Spec was about as loud as it got, barring the race pipes.

What breakers in Kent do you use fella. Do they have much there, are they quiet helpful??

Their about the same db unless it's the afterburner extreme .

Dont know why they get called race pipes anymore as would dout you could get on a track with them on :)

I always thought the Nurspec R was louder than the afterburner

ive got the afterburner and i think its a fairly resonable rumble, wouldnt say its loud at all.

Is yours 2.5" or 3"
Mine was 3" and was measured at 114db @ brands

only a 2.5 chris. standard cat with a straight unresonated pipe in the middle.

Guess they can only be used for 'true' race use where I guess the dB limits are higher, e.g. Time attack etc.

thats what i thought! i swapped my 3" raptor for the 3" nurspec boxes only,and did notice it being quieter or less of a bass note??

lol as soon as you leave upstreet and heading down the hill look to your right a few buildings just off the bend its in there they have got another classic coming in this week and they are selling a white one on ebay for just under 2000 grand

Thanks to jon I now have my sti rear lights in the process of fitting them now .

A photo of sti lights fitted looks a lot cleaner now , its away to the garage tomorrow to get discs, pads , break fluid replaced and the exhaust fitted

Got car back from garage today . The brakes are alot better , martin found one the wheel bearings was loose so he sorted that for me and fitted the exhaust , what can I say about that exhaust , well the car seems quicker , runs and idles a lot better and its bloody loud but sounds awesome I love it I would recommend a blitz nur spec r 3 inch to anyone with a classic or new age who haven't got one on already .

Yes still after a sport cat , not putting the 3inch decat pipe on but keeping it for the time being

I found a center decat on ebay new, not sure how good it is 120 or 130 when i get a chance il ad the item number

Just had a look under the rear end of the car wondering why my bumper moves about a lot . Found the two clips missing that hold the bumper on at the bottom of each corner where the hockey sticks meet the back wheels , quick fix with some nuts, bolts and washers until I get the proper parts from Subaru as they have given a print out of the parts numbers for everything to do with the rear bumper .

Oh well wont be able to get front bumper done in time for leeds castle event as he is fully booked so I might get my windows tinted instead then get the front bumper done at a later date when he has space to fit me in .

Fitted apexi power filter today see how much funds I have left next Friday after picking the car up from the body shop might buy something but don't know what see how I feel.

Haven't done any mods lately but just picked up car from body shop so will post pics up later of of my arches getting the rust removed and redone pictures don't do it justice as it is better to see in the flesh .

Is a my98 engine a ph1 or ph2 keeping the car now so I'm picking up a new ecu next weekend from Edingburgh .

Ph1.5 but uses ph1 fuel rails

Get ph2 440s with carl davey adapters from Alyn.
If you need more then 440 get lateral to modify and flow match them.

Wouldn't I need to change my plugs to fit ph2 injectors .

Just sourced a gen v5 sti spoiler and boot lid from a type r hope they can let me have it as it's from RA MOTORSPORTS where my car is going for a few months to get some body work done .

Spoiler is now sorted and picking up new ecu on Friday afternoon then car will be getting dropped of in March can't wait .

Time to say goodbye to my car on Saturday , dropping it off to RA MOTORSPORTS to get some work done going to be there for a long time .

Is it an agreed timescale or are they fitting in as and when?

I will find out on Saturday as there's a lot of work to be done to the body and then after that fitting some upgrade parts so that I can get the car remapped for some more bhp by Andy Forrest .

Cant say ive seen the breakers either - but good shout and ill keep an eye out when i visit my cousin in whitstable e.t.c.

Not a problem mate there is a breakers that does classics that I know of when I lived down in canterbury .

guys name is Richard nickcols he brakes all scoobs..iv used him afew times. good guy.

That's him bought my 3" blitz exhaust and a few other parts at good prices .
