Driving in Europe

Those with Bugs....what converters do you use on your lights? All i can find is stickers etc for normal head lamps??

SpecB 19-02-2013 02:48 PM

I use the normal ones but only the circle (projector STI lenses)

Steve_PPP 19-02-2013 05:24 PM

Yeah, the normal ones are two part, the circle and the wedge shaped bit. Just cut the circle out and just use that.

Hi Nick,if your driving any distance in France you will get stopped.French police have lots of roadside patrols which stop cars at random and I have been stopped by everyone I've passed.I think the like the scooby.Be sure to have to have all your paperwork with you(Licence, logbook and insurance certificate),its the first thing they will ask for.Do not have any type of radar/speed camera alert device anywhere in the car, even in the boot and not connected. It's a big fine(900euros I think) and they will keep the device.Don't forget your need to have 2 alcol test packs in the car.The good news is that their are very few speed cameras in France, very little traffic and great roads. Can't help with the headlamp deflectors.
