Where's the best place to mount the knock sensor and anybody know a good set of baseline settings - ill get Simon to set it properly on the 20th.

Cheers!

Under inlet manifold bolted to the block.

The standard settings usually okay to begin with and then setup via detcans

Ok, bolted to the block it is, hope I can do it without taking the inlet off!

Over any particular cylinder preferable, or close to the centre line?

The oe sensor is above number 4. You could double the length of the bolt and piggy back it or there should be another bolt hole.

You can go on the bell housing but does then tend to pick up gearbox noise

No problems, just trying to find a neat space for the unit now!

I'm changing the plugs too, should I use the std gap or narrow to 0.7?

0.7
