The Black 'MPU' reg RS1600i was in Performance Ford mag back in about 1989.
I still remember Shane sayng he didn't like the reg number a it reminded him of work. We used to supply an 'MPU' acronymed black box for the Tornado aircraft.

The owner used to live on the housing estate that backs on to Brands Hatch, as I went up there to buy some spares off him when I had my RS1600i.

Oh my god that is a lot of money sitting in there, what a stunning collection though!

Thats what you call a blue oval collection by a man who has a passion for the love of the RS cars of the time . That is one mint collection i would love to go and see .
