Snow foaming today.

After the Christmas rush and 2 trips to Cambridge via Midhurst (don`t ask) finally got to use this today on the :wife: wife`s car- Auto Finesse Avalanche.

Although overall I was pleased with the end results I was disappointed in the foaming. I even read the instructions  tried different levels of concentration and added some meguiars wash/wax on 1 attempt.

After foaming washed and dried.

May try this next, previously recommended by Worzel `Valet Pro-PH neutral`.

Nice looking Disco (when its clean!). Was certainly the best choice of vehicle for visiting the Anchor Inn for the Xmas meal! ;)

twiddle your knob on the lance to cut down the water flow.
i normally put about 25mm - 30mm of snow foam solution in the hopper then fill with cold water.
i use the cheap end ph neutral stuff from cleanyourcar.co.uk

Scoob still hasn't been cleaned since going to the last meet. However I can give you some advice on foam try fairy in a bucket with a sponge. Ali gets foam everywhere with that combo. :ninja:

Nice Disco by the way :yeah:

Tried that Scott, had some strange looks though from the neighbours `twiddling my knob ` still could not get it to really foam?

Will order some from cleanyourcar.

Thanks Nige, this is Liz`s 2nd one, use to be able to justify having 1, 7 seats, 4 x bike rack, Liz even had the horse etc but at 89 litres of diesel to fill it up and about 400 miles per tank on a run its a tad expensive these days.

I have found warm water helps with foaming. The lance I have is useless, so until I get a new one I have tried this trick and it works a treat.

Still not as good as a variable flow lance though.

I use PH Neutral snow foam from www.cleanyourcar.co.uk - their own brand - 6 squirts in the foaming lance, and rest toppped up with hot water and boom !!!! Its like my car's been resprayed in white ! leave it for 15mins, and then rinse, and results are good for loosening bird ****, and pulling off dried on dirt. Obviously fully washed after, but snow foam does work well on encapsulating the dirt and softening up tar, and birds sh*t.

This is good snow foam at a reasonable price. It dwells for a decent amount of time but that is partly down to the lance used.
