The next change to my Bugeye

As you all know you never stop doing up date to your car.
So this weekend I am starting my next job,I will be changing the diff ( LSD ) with Sti sharfs, hubs, rear Bambos, Hardrace trailing arm set,Engine/gearbox mount set plus all new bushes.
I will keep you up dated,it's going to be interesting how hard it is to undo 11 year old bolts http://www.surreyscoobies.co.uk/foru...milies/eek.gif

I will put photo's up as I go.

good luck with that lot mate i would use lots of WD40 to help :BLKSCOOB:

Right that was not as bad as I thought to take apart the only thing that got me was the exhaust mid to front joint bolt that would not shift if I do need to take it off I wiil cut the bolts. The end result is the hole rear end is kit form :D so I will clean the parts up but a little prob is I jumped the gun a bit as I am still waiting for bushes and calipers to be painted.

On my list of things to do - I'm considering doing front and rear to Sti Wide track though, which will give me the 114PCD so would need to change wheels as well.

Be good to see what you think of the HardRace arm set as I have the engine mounts and am impressed so far!

kartingsteve 01-05-2012 11:10 PM

At last I have got it back together well all most still Engine/gearbox mounts and some front bushes but happy so far.

This is some of the parts ready to go back on.

It was not to bad it only took me about 4 hours to take it all out quite but a bit longer to but back as it was a bit slow sorting all the bushes out then had to wait a week. I got the arms with bushes as I was not sure how hard core the bearing ones would be,plus I have done all the rear bushes as well. Not been that far yet be it does fill a good so far
