Intercooler scoop fins

The 4 small fins that sit in the mouth of my front scoop have all come detached at the lower end.I've tried various glues, etc, but nothing lasts for long and it looks messy.Any ideas?,could I remove them completely? Does anybody make a grill (zunsport) that would go in place. Thanks for any advice.

wrx scoop or have you fitted the bigger STI one?

i'm guessing the little fins are broken due to the tension from the scoop wanting to lift up at speed, can't imagine they'd break under compression.

Hi Steve, its the slightly larger STi scoop( not the Elvis one).As you guessed the fins broke when I was doing about 200kph in France,a bit late for the ferry, and a large truck passed in the opposite direction, causing to much lift.Do the serve a purpose?,if yes how can I repair them.Thanks.
