Says the man from secretville. I will be looking underneath your car when waiting for that floating sick bath{oopps sorry Rob}. New 888's new suspention + whatever else is bolted on there. Sounds a bit like your going to give them twisties some serious stick.

Cruel ;) - The thought of being sick and I really mean sick to the point your curling up in pain from constantly turniing your stomach inside out for over an hour, with a 24 hr recovery time even after the ferry. Is taking the edge of things a little :(

If its that bad Rob go for the train mate. At an extra £40/ £50 it's got to be worth it. We can meet up with you at the other side. How about meds?

Already paid and done and not fair on the rest I'm going with who fancy the ferry for a change and will save them a few £'s as well. But I will have a google to find the strongest power travel pills you can get. Problem then will be falling asleep then other end whilst driving, as nearly all of them make you drowsy. If its bright day clear day with little wind I stand a chance - But with a day like to today, I'd sooner jump overboard and take my chances swimming.

Last time I went to calais which in fairness was a few years ago, within 5 mins of leaving port on a fairly still stay, I soon spent the rest of the journey with head down toilet and just about recovered before I had to repeat the process coming back on same day......

Think of the worst hangover you have ever had, that you just can't shift, then you are getting somewhere close to how it is for me.

Nige 18-04-2012 01:22 PM

I can give you a Jab of the good stuff mate. You should wake up when at the hotel.

tbtstt 18-04-2012 02:27 PM

I wouldn't get too excited if its Anger. He'll change his mind at least twice more before any spanners actually touch the car. :D

Anger 18-04-2012 02:32 PM

Must stop looking at the forsale sections do'h

I'm sure he will feel a small prick
And with nige snoring you will be awake at the hotel

Nige 18-04-2012 03:33 PM

Are we there yet?... I want to be there now. Everytime i think about it adrenilin kicks in. I go home knackerd from the Adrenilin hit . I open the garage door & the car's ready & bitting at the bit to be abused. Oh Man I need a release from this frustration............ so i punch the mrs straight in the throat, {its not a good move} she fights back we make up & im to tired from the above to do anything. Its all getting to much for this old boy you know. Zzzzzzzzzzzzz time :oldman:

C. J. 18-04-2012 03:41 PM

You thought about doing any of the mlr sprints Nige ?

Nige 18-04-2012 04:07 PM

Thought about it CJ. Thats as far as ive gone with it though. A few scares with the car's overrun noises have put me off driving it. I think the probem was when the car came off the rollers. It seems to have moved the petrol tank & im getting bad vibes from that on the body. Its taken all this time to tey & pinpoint that noise. I also needed to make sure there wasnt any det. So Paul put his cans on & Scott looked at the KS3 & all seems well. Germany now has all my attention so may give some thought to sprinting after that. Is there a novis group? do they show you were to go 1st? are you allowed any practice runs 1 st ?

C. J. 18-04-2012 04:34 PM

Very relaxed day no bull **** so very friendly run .
Everyone seems to help if someone has any issues .
The day starts with sign on at 8am
8.45 briefing
9 sighting lap
9.30 practice
12 lunch
12.30 the laps that count !
4.30 end
5 prize giving .
I've been bitten by it and though it would not be as enjoyable as a track day . How wrong could I be .
You get time to tink between runs to try different things please watch others and try and learn from their mistakes !
Castle Combe is in sept or blyton on 21st of may . Could use it for testing for the ring;)
