Was a very good show. Some of the cars were amazing, shame it wasn't longer.

So good to see Group B get a decent programme on TV.

I personally think the show would have greatly benefitted from being 90 minutes or even two hours in length. So much happened in the '83 - '86 period that they could hav easily filled out a longer programme. I was checking the DVD out last night to see if that version is any longer, but it doesn't seem so.

An era of motorsport unlikely to be repeated again, perhaps for good reason, as there were even more deaths in the period then that programme mentioned. A modern rally car might be faster, but the Group B car is, and I suspect always will be, a damn sight more spectacular thats for sure!

Had to watch part of the programme again on iPlayer though as I was sure they'd made a mistake: the Group B Posrche was the 959, not the 939. http://www.pistonheads.com/inc/images/wink.gif

NB: Glad to see they didn't hold back with criticism of FISA either.

was good to see something on telly but felt it was a bit "tabloid" in dealing with the issues that went on.........

Both the "Grand Prix: The Killer Years" and the "Deadliest Crash" programmes were the same, seems to be the style of that production team.
