Im just going to get another Halfrauds one, lasted over 4 years and car was lucky to move more than once a month

i only use mine a few times a month but have run current battery flat and now wont keep charge for longer than 2 days

Just got an exide battery from eurocarparts. Reserve online and use code battery15 for 15% off. Cost me £63.

I have an arora calcium battery on mine it never goes flat has amazing cranking power and has been fitted for 5 years. The car had been garaged for 2 years while i was racing and was only started half a dozen times.

I just use the Halfrauds Calcium - Got one replaced for free a day before the 4 year warranty ran out, was lucky they didn't ask as it was completely discharged twice during the rebuild process!

what do people think of lightweight batteries? do they stay charged for days without use like a normal one? sorry to hijack thread:norty:

No they don't. May last about a week ish. Best thing I've done is to buy a trickle charger / conditioner :EVO:
As others have said no quibble with Halfords :wink:

Halfrauds in Eastbourne uses local motor factors to get battery's :-)
