Exhaust bandage

Ello folks, y'know that exhaust wrap that you can get from halfrauds for fixing leaks? Will a car fail its MOT with it on? The girlfriends pug has a little blow on its exhaust and she can't/doesn't want to spend money on getting it fixed until next month as cash is a little tight.

Not sure fella but i tried the same stuff once and it lasted 2 minuets it really is **** :-(

I'm sure i've used it before on one of my cars and it worked quite well. It only needs to last for the MOT really assuming it'll pass with it on there.

ive got a car past its MOT once before using exhaust putty. not really the same stuff though.

So long as the exhaust itself is structurly sound and correctly fitted etc etc as long as the repair is doing its job and not causing an issue in itself, it should be fine:ok:

why not just order a tube of proper exhaust paste from your local motor factor?? use some gloves and smear it on thick :).
