It's snowing here now, doesn't look like its going to settle any time soon tho!

Skullfudge 16-12-2011 10:18 AM

YES I am :)

I take my P1 out for a blast in the snow whenever we get it.

worzel 16-12-2011 10:28 AM

We have got snow today in Crowborough :ok:

Skullfudge 16-12-2011 10:28 AM

Really ? .......... much?

worzel 16-12-2011 10:31 AM

I had about half an inch on the car when I went out earlier to go to work, it's not really settling though.

Still snowing here though.

Skullfudge 16-12-2011 10:47 AM

That's strange, Nikki text me this morning to say she experienced half an inch last night but I'm not sure if she was taking about snow or not? ;)

wonkey85 16-12-2011 01:06 PM

I can't wait for the snow now. Cause as of today I've got 3-1/2 weeks of work. Damn that's a lot of playtime with the scoob :) :) :)

Juppy 16-12-2011 03:31 PM

From my experience it will be great going forwards, but like any other car on performance tyres, THEY DONT STOP!!! so be careful out there. You can get lulled into a false sence of security as they feel quite planted in the snow, but they still dont stop or go around corners any better. Find an empty car park though and they are great fun :scoob:

worzel 16-12-2011 04:32 PM

I'm running more camber now, after my RCM set up, with 888's. :zoiks:

I might as well go the whole fookin hog and wax my tyres!

gtiteen 16-12-2011 04:41 PM

I was this time last year, big carparks are 4 wheel drift heaven.

This year however i have 265bhp and rwd in a bmw hatchback. Not going to be fun if it snows!

No it's not fun in a BMW. My beemer was a fookin nightmare in the snow, lethal in fact! :zoiks:

RobEvo5 16-12-2011 04:55 PM

Looking forward to it again. Got a classic wagon hack thats a bit rough around the edges cosmetically that I have no love for other than what it drives like. Perfect winter hack that I dont mind getting pebble dashed with grit, alloys curbed trying to stop it, or even if I have a bump against a lamp post.....

Bring it on !

But as lucky said - Be carefull guys, they take just as long to stop as any other car. Don't drive like many of the offroaders out there I saw last year who thought they were invisible and driving like complete twats.

If we get the white stuff, a car park meet and best donut competion would be fun :D

I had a 5 series touring for a short while and was the worst winter car ever

Crowman 16-12-2011 06:24 PM

Crowman 16-12-2011 09:03 PM

1 in 35 chance matey.
Will be emailing all info over Christmas :-)

AndyWRX 18-12-2011 10:21 AM

Dont mind really, hopefully itll snow quite heavy and settle for abit, not for too long though because my work is a pain in the arse when it does

tbtstt 20-12-2011 08:59 AM

In answer to the original question... NO! It can snow on Christmas Day, but thats it!

On the last two occasions we've had snow I've been blocked in my road by my idiot neighbours and was unable to get to work. No work equals no pay, so I'm not keen for a repeat of that any time soon!

rossmarts 20-12-2011 09:39 AM

I'm going to be in the Brecon Beacons over Christmas so likely there will be snow. Staying in a farmhouse accessible only by dirt tracks across farmland so will be summoning my inner McRae at every opportunity :ok:

Jason73 21-12-2011 02:58 PM

:doubleup:yes very much so
