Tech Help needed!!!!

Was planning on building a 2.1 CDB and bolting on a GT35 over the next 12-18months along with some big specced heads that are currently at Slow boy racing being built.... BUT I have seen an engine and the guy is localish to me and it's a good price and thought I may get this for the time being.

What sort of reliable power and longevity would I see with this engine, I was thinking storing the gt35 for a rainy and getting a nice Td05 or MD series turbo to compliment the engine.

Short block built by API
2.1 built into a 2.0 ODB
New Lateral Wiseco pistons
New Lateral rods
New ACL race series bearings
New ej257 crank
New RCM timing belt guide
New ARP Head studs
New API modified oil pump
New genuine subaru water pump
New block seals etc

Frayz engineering built heads
v5/v6 Sti heads
New Supertech in and ex valves (black nitrided stock size)
New Cosworth 272 cams
New Cosworth single valve springs
New genuine subaru 1.6mm multilayer steel Head gaskets
New seals throughout.

I probably do around 2000 miles a year including track days etc etc and I have a simtek and will get the supporting fuel system to go with the engine.

Is it worth getting this or worth keeping my pennies and using my CDB and my better specc'd head and gt35 at a later date and just sticking with what I have for the time being.

Similar spec to mine(just mine have Cosworth pistons,Cosworth rods, ported and polished heads etc.) and power wise somewhere like Neil@Slowboy Racing said 500-550bhp

I think this engine will take around 500-550bhp

Jura Neil currently has my heads down there with Kelford cams, 1mm supertech oversized valves, Supertec springs , titanium retainers and solid buckets mate plus I already have a CDB @ home ready to be built.

It was just an idea to maybe use this for the time being as such mate. Seen your car down there mate looking awesome.

All depends on what you use the car for, for the road a GT35 will be too laggy on a 2.0 imo md321h or t makes a very quick road car.
