why dont i have air con!!??
 

hi i have a uk V plate uk turbo, why dont i have air con ?? lol silly question thats bugging me . all the older imports have it, and as a 1999 car thought it would be standard.. anyone have the answer??

On uk cars the air con was an optional extra. I had to pay £999 for mine on an MY00 !!! Just one of the issues with buying UK spec - less toys and BHP!

Before I bought my MY99 way back in 2001 it took me months to find a DBM Wagon with AC.

The Subaru dealers I spoke to back then said not many people went for it as it was a costly optional extra.

I was lucky to find a DBM Wagon with AC, Electric windows all round, 6 CD - CD player and one careful lady owner. Apart from a few knocks on the side of the car, it was immaculate. I still miss it almost 5 year later :(

ah thought i would prob be a option from factory... £999 expensive huh
