C. J. 21-01-2009 08:26 PM

Re: C.J . WRX Bugeye

More home made mods
First one is a insert of stainless steel to speed up the spool , seems to have pushed it 350rpm earlier on the rollers and about 500 t0 60 rpm on the road
http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w...6012009046.jpg

Second one was getting ride of the tumblers in the inlet manifold

http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w...0012009050.jpg

so thats it for the stanard block and the 2.5 is on the books for summertime :yeah:

Why don't you get rid of the Egt sensor in the up-pipe before it breaks off and fcuk's your turbo

Is it just a case of a ecu re-flash to turn the cel out after the tumbler delete?

Yes its a reflash with EcuTek , dont know if scott can do with his free ware.

Re: C.J . WRX Bugeye

i've got no EGT sensor on mine - just used the resistor trick in the socket and i've not had a CEL come on since.

seemed the best option as i've not forked out cash for a remap
