He will go for it though. 2 set's of wheels & pad's i think he's taking. I just hope he dont bin it before we get there. I really want to get behind him on track. I even dream of this one quick lap now. :drive:

just remember martyn pain killers and beer can be bad.(unless you are using the beer as pain killers) I know what you mean about the cast, when I did my fingers(severed tenons and cut right to the bone) the cast was on for 6 weeks.

Any way enjoy folks, we expect pics and hopefully video as well.

My cast is due top come off the tuesday after we get back, cant bloomin wait, will be a good few months of physio then.

Will certainly not be mixing any pain releif mate.
Only take them to sleep now, so can have the odd beer or ten:chug::chug::chug::tequila:

Hongkongfooi 22-05-2010 07:30 PM

I think you are all going to think me and my mate Sim are Pansies as we don't drink much going by this thead!

We are there for the :chinese::drive::drive::drive::drive:

worzel 22-05-2010 07:56 PM

Not at all Tim. We are not that bad really

At the end of the day mate, this trip is all about whatever you want it to be. There will be some beers flowing for sure, but not silly amounts. Far too many miles in the pipeline for that.

I will however be somewhat numbed of an evening on at least one occasion.

Crowman 22-05-2010 11:09 PM

Exactly as steve said, we have made it sound like we are all piss heads, we actually only got fully bladdered one night, ok so we did roll back to the hotel at about 7am.
the rest of the time was, either on the ring or down watching, we had some very nice relaxing evening meals, and drove to some stunning places with some stunning roads.
You know the great thing is with a good bunch is some go on the lash, some go racing, some go sight seeing and we all end up in a nice restaurant in the evening or back at the hotel with many a story to tell.

Crowman 22-05-2010 11:27 PM

Sorry if I was abrupt, CJ.:five:

The times where all discussed yesterday after the geo day with Worzel, Crowman and myself.

We did this trip last year and everything went as smooth as clock work, apart from a couple of unfortunate incidents.

C. J. 23-05-2010 01:05 PM

Hopefully it does this year too

Crowman 23-05-2010 01:27 PM

Ian, if that is correct post code for junction 11 then its 27 miles to the port.
Need to allow half hour for that mate.
Chris if you come to me about 05.30 then over to meet Steve and Laura at 05.45, Will get us to J11 about 06.30.
How does that sound.

C. J. 23-05-2010 01:51 PM

Fine with me
Does say in shell site 15mins from port but i also thought the same as you 30mins unless you want to drive outside the legal limits !

Excellent...should be entertaining!

Anger 23-05-2010 02:12 PM

I wont be drinking as much as usual as im having a dry year and it wouldnt be fair for Ratty as he would have to put up with me as were sharing the same room lol

Seams like my playing around on the way home from the geo day testing my aggressive camber settings has come at a cost... wheel bearings gone on the front

Hongkongfooi 23-05-2010 02:44 PM

Just so I have this straight...its 68 euros per room and not per person?

ie for 3 nights 204 euros between me and my mate

and extra for the brekkie or is that included?

I'm just trying to work out how many euros to get this week! I'm thinking 400 should cover it:-?

C. J. 23-05-2010 02:54 PM

I'm changing £500 and taking home anything left !

Hi, yes its per room, breakie included,i would allow about 20 to 25 quid for eve meal at hotel.
Bloody great price when you see how nice the rooms and hotel is, even got nice garages to lock your car in over night if you pre book them.

I always go on about 100 euros per day plus hotel so about 500 euros should do it.
