Perfect fit Dave :ok:

Used measurements from manufacturer and the size ordered is spot on. Was surprised how well actually considering I have very wide distorted hands across my knuckles...(too many years breaking them against "things")

But got to say they are very comfy - tight, and secure...

I have a set of sparco boots - the are the most comfortable shoes I own. Really good to drive in. Never gone down the glove route.

Only went glove route as my Momo steering wheel has no texture left on the grips and is worn shiny - it really is quite slippery...

Agreed about the shoes though - they looked very narrow, yet once on, felt very very comfy... :ok:

Remember it is a snail after all, they always take their time getting to the places they need to be!

Rdlangy1 02-02-2017 06:30 PM

But this is meant to be a bigger snail and quicker

Well thought I would have a measure up for the induction kit today - didn't get very far as I think I def need to sort my hoses out otherwise I may have a problem installing...

http://www.southeastscoobies.co.uk/v...psyysmcgsi.jpg

As I didn't get very far I thought I had better look at the other issue - my belt cover rubbing on the hose.

Quick measure up and rough cutting sketch...

http://www.southeastscoobies.co.uk/v...psalbjxfio.jpg

Has left a fair indent in the hose but hasn't split or gone through any layers...also looks a bit squished against all the other pipes...

http://www.southeastscoobies.co.uk/v...psqucb6mem.jpg

Quick trim up with the dremmel and it ain't perfect but does the job...

Put the jubilee clip where you want to cut and use a Stanley knife against the metal clip to give a nice tidy cut. But make sure the clip buckle is at the bottom as this will cause the blade to deviate, so best left out of sight.

Rdlangy1 12-02-2017 09:40 PM

Cheers for the tip Scott :ok:

Ginola 12-02-2017 10:04 PM

I'd wait before cutting anything, until you've got the FMIC kit installed, you won't know 100% where it's going otherwise. Different kits have different pipe runs. I've still got that spare bit of silicon here also for help ;)

Yeah no front Mount Intercooler going on Dave - Rich didn't think it was necessary, so just induction (his recommendation over panel) and turbo going on :ok:

So after trimming the belt cover up I didn't like all the scratches and wonky lines...

Bit of sanding and spraying last night and it's come out ok...
