What a day... Lol
Got over to see the car for the first time with paint on this morning like an excited kid. Very happy with colour etc. http://i950.photobucket.com/albums/a...r/b2cc930f.jpg Set about fitting windows and rear was nice and easy along with rear sides. http://i950.photobucket.com/albums/a...r/ee1a3b1d.jpg Stew helped fit windscreen, at that point I went to get brake lines and few other bits. http://i950.photobucket.com/albums/a...r/796dce2c.jpg Came back to find Stew and Ian (bod) working on it and they had fitted master cylinder, handbrake and cables, clutch cylinder and the boot and were in the process of fitting passenger door. Bonnet, wings were slotted on and arches fitted mainly to stop the risk of damage with them sat around. I am not doing the paint, neighbouring paintshop are.
They are flattenning the paint with something and then polishing yes. Bonnet and wings are flattenned but not polished in the pics. They are having the car back tomorrow once stew has fitted the drivers door Simon |

Purely just of interest why are you not using copper brake lines? What is the advantage of the flexible ones apart from ease of bending, are they more efficient I suppose they must be? |
