I have just recieved the following e-mail:

Hi,

We have you ticket application here but, at this late stage, we cannot guarantee delivery even by First Class post Recorded Delivery. We have arranged instead for your tickets to be available for collection at the main entrance to Brands Hatch on Sunday at Modified Live any time between 7:30 am and 10:00 am.

What I suggest is that we meet at the place Crowman has posted and then go to the main entrance.

If there isnt a queue we can go straight through the main entrance, if there is a big queue I will walk to the ticket office pick up the tickets and then we can all go round to the PADDOCK ENTRANCE.

I would suggest we meet at the meeting point at 07.50 to leave at 08.00 am

Would it not be wiser that you call in on the way to the meeting point and pick tickets up rather than 20 + scoobs turning up with out tickets ?

OK i agree with Big E about meeting time at M25 junction, Also agree with Baz about meeting time at PP,time to put user name stickers on, And also agree with C.J about collecting tickets.
Ian could you possibly shoot down to the main entrance its only a couple of miles, that way we can all go in via paddock.

There's a good chance the paddock entrance will be closed, it was last time.
It may be better to come in from the other direction, as last time the que from that way was only a few cars

NEW MEETING TIME.!!!

I have decided to change the meeting time to 07.10amTo leave at 07.20 SHARP!!

The meeting place is marked on the map posted by Crowman

The reason for this is that last year it was utter chaos trying to get in,

considering that I can't get the tickets until 07.30, arriving there when it opens it will reduce the queueing time.


If any of you will find it difficult to get there 40 minutes earlier please PM me and I will do my best to accommodate you.

At that time of the morning, it should only take half an hour to get from PP to the M25/M20 junction (its 34 miles), even at a nice steady 70mph. Leave PP at 6:30am?

I can be at PP by 6am but expect no more than a grunt from me! And can somebody make sure I don't put my sticker on upside down! I'm at the 6th form ball at Goodwood until 12 on Sat night and will have to leave at 5:15 to get up to PP.

If we get there at 7:30 what's the earliest we will be let in, I thought gates were 9:30?

The gates open at 9.30 to the general public.... Club stands can arrive from 7.30.... :)

I'm there with another club so I'll pop over and say hi at some point! :doubleup:

All sounds a bit early to me, especialy as am bringing my 8 year old son along.......
He's not gonna be too happy standing around for 2 1/2 hours until the track action starts at 10:00.
Let alone having to get up at 5:45am.

My thoughts too if big E wont go and pick them up on his own then I'm happy to get there for 7.30 pick tickets up and meet peeps at the meeting point for the original time . Although I'm not the meet organizer !

What about a compromise....actually get to the gate at 8.15 which will still beat the queues, meet at PP at 7am, get to the 2nd meeting point at 745? Or is it too late to change all this now? :getmecoat:

I am bringing my eldest too, who is 8.
It is very early, but once he has been round the shops,had a go on the go karts and had some breki the track action will be happening.
He will sleep well sunday night for sure.

I dont have a problem with the time ian its the point of 20 cars blocking the entrance will you go and get the tickets . just think its a bad plan .will go straight to meeting point for 7.10 .

Right. I am still on for same early meet at PP, hand out stickers to those names that are on the order list.

Both Big E and myself will meet people at paddock to give tickets to those who come later.
It really is no problem, we will try and ensure spaces are kept for the ones comming later.

PM either me or BIg E for contact numbers.

Remember people BIg E has forked out over £400 when he ordered tickets, and is still owed a fair amount of money.
He has put alot of effort into this, as has Scott.So lets just get to the meeting points and have a cracking day. :doubleup: :doubleup: :doubleup: :doubleup: :doubleup:
