AndyWRX 02-03-2010 06:50 PM

looks good mate

WRXmike 03-03-2010 12:39 PM

very nice mate. think your right about the graphics. just get rid of the RRH bits. The old boy that drove past it at SRR in his corsa last night didnt agree though as he sat there shaking his head at it:oldman:

tbtstt 03-03-2010 05:53 PM

It's OK I suppose...

...;-) it was a mental car in its previous form so god knows what its going to be like when you've finished with it! Your RA set a benchmark for the classics, so I look forward to seeing what you do with a newage. Are you planning to fully strip this, or keep it with its full complement of seats and interior?

Oh, and put the Surrey Scoobers out of thier misery - what did you make on the rollers?!

Anger 03-03-2010 08:24 PM

Its going to stay as a road car this one Steve :drive:

it made..... 435bhp 463 lbs/ft on v-power at 1.6 peak

WRXmike 03-03-2010 10:16 PM

i'd be well happy with that mate. Nice and safe yet fookin quick.:-D

Anger 03-03-2010 10:18 PM

Didnt realise how fast until i had to slap the anchors on... power deliverie is so different with 2.5 and being a new age

Still getting use to the 6 speed too

belliott 03-03-2010 10:30 PM

...barely sensible Scoob! :-D

Rich gave it a little blast past me back when I was in my Civic - at the time I felt like I might as well have been on foot. It was there, then it was tiny dot in the distance!

I need to invest in one of those STi short throw shifts as well!

Scooby Si 03-03-2010 11:01 PM

For a big, heavy, lardy new-age it's quick! ;)

Who am I kidding... It's quick full stop. I think it feels quicker than the RA but that could be down to the way it delivers the power!
