I'm defo a culprit but to be honest I'm a huge fan of both. As all round cars.

Can't beat a turbo charged, 4 wheel drive saloon derived from a rally car that you can drive around with all the family in the back.

Subaru, by far, has the best sound and mitsubishi has the aggression so win win all round I say......

MIDLIFE 03-02-2014 08:59 PM

Love this car, where is it now?

Anger 03-02-2014 10:20 PM

The new owner posted above ;)

Now, now Mr Moulson!

6's are extremely hard to find solid rot free now, I wanted to build another like mine as out of circa 50 cars it's the only car I've really missed, do not buy one that has been undersealed, try and find one that's original underneath at least you can see what's going on!

Moley_WRX 04-02-2014 09:58 PM

Looking at possibly importing one.

Like you said, ones that have been here a while are rotting.

Scott.T 04-02-2014 10:16 PM

Rob let me drive this (as he does most of his interesting drives) and it was a real hoot.....if only they had a Scooby flat four burble I would probably have one now.

Agree with what Rob say's. The Evo is very good at letting you drift.
I think I had Robs (origin of his username) Evo 5 more sideways in a 15 minute test drive then I have had a scoob sideways in 15 years.

scooby doo 08-02-2014 03:42 PM

Lights are US items mate

Nice looking Evo

Anger 08-02-2014 06:15 PM

Is it a 9 ?

RobEvo5 08-02-2014 06:34 PM

Compared to other things you were thinking about, good choice and nice looking Evo. Enjoy mate, Will certainly see you and hear you coming around town. I think every petrol head should own at least one Evo in the lifetime...

Moley_WRX 08-02-2014 06:52 PM

Very nice indeed

scoobaru 08-02-2014 09:32 PM

I'm likening that! I'm not a fan of red cars in general (personal thing) but I'm feeling a bit coy over that evo!

Looks very mean....
Anger I thought those were the mr rear lights?????

Anger 08-02-2014 09:42 PM

No MR lights have orange mate instead of clear

Hongkongfooi 08-02-2014 09:43 PM

Very nice. Is it an 8 with the 9 bumpers or genuine 9?

EXEVO3 08-02-2014 09:58 PM

good choice pal...you will love the grip levels...big grin factor 10 lol

Aahhhh......furry muff. I always did wonder how to know the difference.

scooby doo 09-02-2014 12:06 AM

Thanks for the comments people
Anger yours looks so smart,
Cheers Rob it came up at a very good price I had to take it up,

Moley_WRX 09-02-2014 04:14 PM

Went to see this today.....

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3311244568...84.m1423.l2649

Brilliant car, has a few more mods than on the list (re-map, GT30) and is solid underneath
Unfortunately the paint lets it down. No accident damage, but it's had panels sprayed and they don't match brilliantly, so for me it'd need a re-spray.

Gutted as it's an amazing car, but too much work for me.

Anger 09-02-2014 06:36 PM

Are those pics old then... As that engine pic hasn't a gt30 fitted

Apparently so. (Can't see the different whites in that pic)
Certainly went well.

Tyre kicking Maks now

Moley_WRX 09-02-2014 06:51 PM

Actually the engine looked just like the pic.

scooby doo 10-02-2014 09:32 AM

That 6 looks nice

Not up-close

Anger 10-02-2014 09:39 AM

A GT30 would be on a aftermarket manifold unless it's a hybrid and they have a habit of ****ting thereselves on Evo's

Moley_WRX 10-02-2014 11:25 AM

Probably good i avoided it then.

Seems like finding a good 6 is a nightmare.

Anger 10-02-2014 11:28 AM

I would personally stick to what you have and know

Moley_WRX 10-02-2014 11:38 AM

Very undecided at the moment.

I know where i am with the Impreza, it's how i want it to be.
But a big part of me feels like i'd like a change, even if it's just for a while

It'd have to be the right Evo though, and it'd appear very difficult to find.

Anger 10-02-2014 11:42 AM

It's if you can find another car after that is the same as what you had before... I would still have the trooper if I could turn back time ;)

Moley_WRX 10-02-2014 12:19 PM

Trooper over the RA?
