Looking good Martyn, and pleased my old TMIC is going to a good use.
It's been sat in a box in the garage for about 6 years.
To think it nearly got chucked a few months back.

Thanks Scott, getting there.
The TMIC is as good as they get , and it's exactly same as Sti5/6 , same size etc .once silver and the factory sticker is on it , will be perfect .
A meal is on me for you and Rob .

Not spraying inside , but I wanted seats and carpet out as they are going to be professionally cleaned , also there are a number of clips , trim etc that I'm renewing .
It's best time to do it .
Going to be very careful when putting car back together :-)

Make sure the carpet doesn't get distorted if cleaned out of the car. I haven't got a clue but Edd on wheeler dealers always says to do it in the car to keep the shape.

Skullfudge 19-07-2012 10:57 PM

Look at Flash Pants with his electronic garage picture !

Another little update.
On Clive's recommendation I went down to SPR coachworks for a look around and chat about my car.
OMG what a place , and great guys.
A few of the cars I was Showed. E30 M3 having some serious work, GT 40, audi quatro turbo, mustang, a few porkas, a 22B
Any how decision now made , it's going to them .
Take a look guys
www.sprcoachworks.co.uk

Have refurbished the TMIC , well pleased with the result .

Started by rubbing down the complete IC and all brackets attached to it,then covered the fins as I didn't want heavy paint on them .

http://i376.photobucket.com/albums/o...s/e4b78f1d.jpg

The old cover( bottom) was tatty , so I painted the replacement , fitted new mesh and new sticker.

No worries mate, good to see what you've done to the P1 and have a bit of a chinwag. Like we were saying yesterday, these forums are all about helping folk out :five:

(and the wheels were taking up valuable bbq space in my shed lol)

Crowman 31-07-2012 07:36 PM

Cheers Didz , the wheels are mint, just being super anal , I don't want any overspray on them , and it gives me the time to give them some more loving :-)
Once car is away I'm going to take everything off engine so I can get the dremmel out and clean ur up , followed by paint of course :-)
